Aadvance Swimming Pool Consultants was established by Don Bullock in Queensland in 2005 after more than 25 years in the swimming pool industry as a manufacturer, distributor and retailer. He held the following positions in the Queensland Construction Industry:
- Founding councillor of the Queensland Housing Industry Assoc. in 1965
- Past president of the Queensland Swimming Pools Association (now SPASA)
- Inaugural Director of the National Swimming Pools Association SPASA
- Life member of SPASA Queensland
An electrical contractor for over 20 years, Don introduced the first salt chlorinator disinfection process for residential pools in Queensland in 1973 and eventually developed Swimworld as the then largest chain of pool shops and service divisions with almost 100 employees. During the period to 2005 his companies manufactured and/or distributed most operating equipment used in swimming pools, and he designed the filtration, disinfection and hydraulics operations for trade customers, specialising in community pools, complex negative edge pools and in-floor engineered cleaning systems.

An Associate in Aadvance Swimming Pool Consultants, Gordon Clarke, was a fully licenced builder in NSW and as Managing Director of Mutual Pools, designed and built over 15,000 Residential pools and a large number of commercial pools, and consulted on such prestigious projects as the Melbourne Aquatic Centre. He has designed and implemented the operational procedures for filtration and disinfection processes for many resort and commercial complexes throughout Australia. He held the following positions in the NSW Construction Industry;
- Inaugural Director of the National Swimming Pools Association SPASA
- Director of SPASA NSW.
- Associate Member of Building Services Corporation (Appointed by NSW Minister for Consumer Affairs).
With this combined experience, Gordon & Don are well qualified to address all design & construction methods of community & domestic swimming pools, spas & water features.
